Surprisingly, despite your repeated promises over the past month to spend time outside on the weekends, you haven't followed through. Consider this a less-than-polite reminder to get outside, you lazy people.
Create A Garden
Now, when we say that size is irrelevant, we mean it. It will work whether your garden consists of a tropical haven in your backyard or three herb-filled plant pots. Planting has a very calming (and satisfying, if done correctly) quality. Make it a group activity and invite people over to assist in creating the best garden you can; kids will particularly enjoy getting their hands dirty, especially if you bake a few mud pies.
Go On A Hike
Alright, so perhaps the term "hike" is a bit generous. To be perfectly honest, we would classify any walk that has a small incline as a hike. Thus, use this as a chance to refer to any weekend stroll as a hike; people will be impressed.

Outdoor Music Event
This is essentially what makes an outdoor activity interesting. Fortunately, the majority of these wonderful outdoor concerts take place in the UK from May through September (hurrah!). This gives you a great excuse to get your sunscreen on, grab a Pimm's, and dance around with your friends.
Participate An A Sport
In addition to being a ton of fun, team sports are also a great way to meet friends or foes. This is a great example of finding something enjoyable to do outside after work. It is therefore very easy to get started in any sport you want to try, be it rugby, hockey, or volleyball.
